Winter.

I always loved the Winter best,
Mornings awaking with hope in the eye,
Rush to the window,
Rip back the curtain,
unveils a sheet of white,
Hope spawns prayer.
Rush down the steps,
three at a time,
Radio confirms prayer,
Excitement runs its course.
Hot chocolate brewing,
Steam hovering over the mug,
A gastly hover,
In the cozy room,
Outside children,
laughing,
playing,
bundled up, protected from the
Cold.
