Very well then, let's begin.
The next day...
It all started with New-Fist-Hammer- Maker, or, as I call him, New-Fist.
Children's play doesn't have much of a purpose; they should be learning skills to help them become better adults and to help the tribe...

New-Fist came up with the idea of a systematic education.
What should children learn that will help them help the tribe? Fish-grabbing, woolly-horse-clu bbing, and tiger-scaring!

Children attended New-Fist's school. The educated children grew up to have advantages over the uneducated children.

However, the school was not without its critics.
This schooling is against the will of the Great Mystery. If he had wanted children to fish-grab, woolly-horse-clu b, and tiger-scare, he would have implanted those instincts in them!

But New-Fist was cleverer still...
The Great Mystery causes children to want to learn. And, we have achieved our greatness through change. Is it not unpatriotic to deny the very process that has made us so great?

...and the conservatives relented.
I cannot argue with that!
