Many years after New-Fist went with the Great Mystery, a new ice age made things difficult for the tribe.
The melting ice has muddied our waters and made it difficult to fish; the woolly horses have gone extinct; and, the saber-tooth tigers have left, only to be replaced by bears!

Luckily, industrious citizens came up with innovations to adjust to the changing environment.
Now we use nets to fish; we trap antelope instead of clubbing woolly horses; and, we dig pits to protect ourselves from bears!

Some of the more progressive parents suggested that these new techniques be taught in school...
Schools should teach what's important in the real world today.

...but their demands were rejected.
School is where our children learn how[/i] to think, not [i]what to think. Therefore, we will continue to teach the fundamentals upon which everything is built: fish-catching, woolly-horse-clu bbing, and tiger-scaring.
